The plans

All prices are in Canadian dollars per month. Ontario clients add 13% HST.

Plan Month-to-month Billed annually Who it suits
Growth $1,999 $1,499 Core digital marketing for an established trades business
Elite $3,999 $2,999 Broader multi-channel marketing, plus 50% off Trades.Agency website design packages
Enterprise $7,999 $5,999 Your own dedicated marketing team and priority support, with a website design and build of any package included free

Nobody signs a long-term contract: you pay month by month and give 30 days' notice to stop. Annual billing gives the lower rate. The full, current description of each plan is on the Trades.Agency pricing page. If anything there differs from this page, that page is the reference.

What drives the cost for a Durham contractor

The plan fee is only part of what you'll spend. Four things shape your total:

  1. How many towns you target. Two Clarington communities need far less work than all eight Durham municipalities.
  2. How competitive those towns are. Pickering and Ajax compete with Toronto firms, so ads cost more per click and SEO takes longer. Scugog, Uxbridge and Brock usually cost less to win.
  3. Ad spend. Separate from the plan, and set from your own break-even cost per lead. Our ad budget guide shows how to calculate it.
  4. Your website. If it needs rebuilding, that's an extra cost on Growth, discounted on Elite, and included on Enterprise.

A worked example

Here's how one hypothetical contractor might think it through. Replace the numbers with your own.

  • A renovation firm based in Oshawa wants more basement jobs in Whitby and Courtice.
  • Average job: $35,000. Gross margin: 30%, or $10,500 per job.
  • They win one in four qualified quotes, so each qualified lead is worth about $2,600 in gross margin.
  • They choose the Growth plan billed annually ($1,499/month plus HST) and set aside $2,500/month in ad spend.
  • Total monthly marketing: roughly $4,000 before tax.

If that produces even two extra signed jobs a month, it adds about $21,000 in gross margin against $4,000 in cost. If it produces none after a fair test, the month-to-month terms mean they can stop. The point is not that these figures are typical, but that you can check the logic before signing anything.

How to choose a plan

  • Choose Growth if you're a single-location contractor focused on a few Durham towns and need local SEO, reviews and one paid channel.
  • Choose Elite if you want several channels at once, cover more of the region, or need a new website and want the 50% design discount.
  • Choose Enterprise if you run multiple crews or divisions, want a dedicated team, and need a new website built as part of the plan.

When in doubt, start smaller. It's easier to add towns and channels once the first ones are paying than to cut back a plan that was too ambitious. The services overview explains what each channel does.

What sits outside the plan fee

  • Ad spend, which is billed by the platform to an account in your name, so you can see every dollar.
  • Website builds on the Growth plan, quoted separately from the monthly fee.
  • Your own time, mostly answering enquiries quickly and sending job photos. It's the cost owners forget, and it matters more than any line item.

One thing that costs nothing: the first 30-minute consultation, for eligible trades businesses.

You'll also keep everything you pay for: your website, domain, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and content stay in your name, as explained on the about page.

Next step

Call, text or email with your trade, base town, target towns and rough average job value. We'll tell you which plan we think fits, or whether you'd be better off waiting. The FAQ answers the common questions about contracts and reporting.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a long-term contract?

No. You stay month to month and can leave by giving 30 days' notice. Annual billing lowers the monthly price if you'd rather commit for a year.

Does the plan price include ad spend?

No. Google and other platforms bill you directly for ad spend, so you can see every dollar. The plan covers strategy, setup, management and reporting.

Do you charge HST?

Yes. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and Durham clients add 13% Ontario HST.

Is the first consultation free?

Yes, a 30-minute initial consultation is free for eligible trades businesses and is separate from paid plans.

Where can I see the full plan details?

The current, complete list of what each plan includes is on the Trades.Agency pricing page, which belongs to our group.
